Inglis not happy at being described as a primate
SoO banana bender Greg Inglis today reacted angrily to suggestions he and other Aussies resemble monkeys, despite his mid air acrobatics in the warm up to last weeks second half of the ANZAC test which NZ won 12 – 6 against Ausfailure.
A handler said Inglis was very upset at the remarks and was not his usual self.
“He hasn’t come out of his cage since Monday’ said a spokeperson for the Melbourne Zoo where Inglis lives.
In a statement in National Geographic Inglis said “eeee eeee, aaaaaah, oooo oooo” and scratched his head and picked his bum.
Queensland selectors were said to be concerned and were worried that Inglis might not turn out for the interstate exhibition tournament.
‘Players like Inglis don’t grow on trees’ said Queensland’s head baboon.
Inglis was rested on the weekend and was used to bring on the halftime refreshments for his team primates.
